Qishlah Palace

Built during King Abdul Aziz's era in the 1940s, this massive rectangular fortress showcases classic Najdi architectural style with 8.5-meter-high mud-brick walls and eight watchtowers . Once used as military barracks, it now stands as a proud symbol of Ha'il's heritage .

Since its inception in 2006, the Hail International Rally has evolved into the Middle East's most prestigious desert rally and Saudi Arabia's most renowned motorsport event . Conceived by Prince Saud bin Abdulmohsen bin Abdulaziz, then governor of Hail Region, in collaboration with the Saudi Automobile and Motorcycle Federation, the rally was born from the heart of the Hail desert .

The Most Successful Driver in Rally History

Saudi motorsport icon Yazeed Al-Rajhi has cemented his legacy as the winningest driver in Hail Rally history, claiming an unprecedented eight victories (2009, 2010, 2012, 2015, 2016, 2022, 2024, 2025) . His 2025 victory, coming immediately after his historic Dakar Rally triumph, saw him pilot his Toyota Hilux with co-driver Timo Gottschalk to a commanding win, completing the 815-kilometer route through the challenging North Reserve terrain in 4 hours, 28 minutes, and 15 seconds .
